Location
This project is located at the intersection of Southside Blvd. and Deer Flat Rd. on the south side of Nampa.

Description
The intersection is currently a two-way stop-controlled configuration. East and west traffic on Deer Flat Road is stopped controlled while the north and south traffic is free flow on Southside. The project will reconfigure the intersection into a roundabout.

Need for Project
This intersection is currently configured as a two-way stop-controlled. A roundabout in this location is expected to improve safety and mobility for both the Southside Blvd. and Kuna Rd. corridors. The project will fit the context of a roundabout corridor for Southside Blvd. This corridor currently has roundabouts planned at the intersections of Southside & Lewis, as well as Southside & Kuna.
