Location
This project is located at the intersection of Robinson Rd. and Kuna Rd. on the south-east side of Nampa.

Description
The intersection is currently a flashing all-way-stop configuration. The project will reconfigure the intersection into a roundabout.

Need for Project
This intersection is currently configured as a flashing all-way-stop. A roundabout in this location is expected to improve safety and mobility for both the Robinson Rd. and Kuna Rd. corridors. The project will fit the context of a roundabout corridor for Star/Robinson Blvd. The corridor currently has four roundabouts at Star Rd. & Cherry Ln., Robinson Rd. and Airport Rd., Robinson Rd. and Victory Rd., Robinson Rd. and Amity Ave.

The process and schedule for the project are currently as follows:
– Design Consultant Selection – November 2021 (Kittelson & Associates)
– Public Meeting at Nampa Highway District No. 1 – May 24, 2022
– Concept Report – June 2022
– Preliminary Design – Summer 2022
– Purchase of Right-of-Way –2023 to 2024
– Final Design – Anticipated Winter 2024
– Construction – Anticipated Winter 2025 to Spring 2026 (six month duration)
