This project is located at the intersection of Northside Blvd. and Cherry Ln. on the north side of Nampa

Description
The intersection is currently an all-way-stop configuration. The project will reconfigure the intersection into a roundabout.

Need for Project
This intersection is currently configured as an all-way-stop. A roundabout in this location is expected to improve safety and mobility for both the Northside Blvd. and Cherry Ln. corridors. The project will improve traffic flow along Cherry Ln. in conjunction with the existing Star and Cherry Ln roundabout.

Process/Schedule
The process and schedule for the project are currently as follows:

• Design Consultant Selection – September 2021 (6 Mile Engineering)
• Concept Report –Fall 2022
• Preliminary Design – Fall 2022
• Purchase of Right-of-Way – 2023
• Final Design – Spring 2023
• Construction – Winter 2024 to Spring 2025 (six month duration)
